What do the numbers on optics (scopes and binoculars) mean?
The first number indicates the magnification. It may be a single number for a fixed power or a range such as 3-9 for a variable power. The second number is the objective lens diameter shown in millimeters. There is usually an �x� between the first and second numbers. For example, a binocular with the designation 10x60 would magnify the image by a factor of ten and would have an objective lens diameter of 60 millimeters.

What is a Noise Reduction Rating on a set of shooting muffs (hearing protection)?
The Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) shown on shooting muffs is expressed in decibels. It is the measurement of the reduction in noise exposure that is provided. The higher the NRR number, the more protection provided, in other words, the greater the sound reduction when properly worn and correctly fitted

How are shipping rates determined?
Rates are based on the US Dollar amount of the order and whether the shipment is domestic or international. The rates charged are approximate, as we won�t know exactly how much shipping will be until we deliver the package to the carrier. In any case you only pay the quoted amount.
